Lily nodded. "Alright, I'll gather my ingredients and begin mixing the potion. It will take about three days, so meet back here then. In the meantime, lay low. Got it?" Ash and her friends nodded solemnly.
"Man, I can't believe I'll have to stay like this for three whole days." Ash grumbled as the group walked down the road. Pikachu gave her a consoling pat on the shoulder. "Pika..."
Alright guys, if we stay out in the woods, there's less of a chANCE that something bad will happen." Brock suggested. "We should set up camp nearby, so we're close at hand when Lily finishes her potion." The others nodded.
Overhead, unnoticed by the group of young trainers, a cat-shaped balloon floated lazily on the breeze. "Oh, what's this? James exclaimed, looking down through a pair of binoculars. His partners in crime rushed to his side.
"What is it James?" Jessie asked excitedly. "James giggled with glee. "It is! A rare mint bottlecap! I must add it to my collection!"
Meowth swatted him over the head, taking the binoculars from his hand. "Now's not da time for dat, moron! We're hot on da trail of da twerps!" He zoomed in on the road, quickly spotting their prey. "Huh, dat's odd. Dey's gots two Pikachus, and the one kid's missin'!" He leered at his companions. "You know what dat means, right?" The group burst into evil cackles.
Down below, Ash and co had reached the shore of a large lake and were busy setting up their equipment. Brock was currently working on cooking up some lunch, while Misty helped get the tents ready. Ash, due to her small frame and lack of thumbs, couldn't do much to help, so she just chucked pebbles into the water. "Stupid potion, stupid Lily, stupid me..." She muttered with every stone she threw.
