The two didn't want anything too big, since it was only 3 o'clock on the watch in the eatery. They talked it over and went to the smaller portions to find these Fiery Fritters. Tiffany ordered for the both of them. "We'll take two of these to go, please."
The order ended up fast, probably because they bake these beforehand to be quick about it. They were handed a doggy bag and was soon leaving before the person giving them the order was speaking up. "Excuse me, ladies..." Aleysha turned around. "Tiff, did you forget to pay. Hold on, I got-". The staff stopped her. "No need. I heard you crashed just outside. I was going to recommend a motel for you to stay at until you want to leave. It's just across the way. I will warn you though, you won't want to leave if you do. Make sure to eat those on the way. Wouldn't want them to get cold."
They nod and walk off. "Well, I guess we have a place to stay." Tiffany said, taking the first bite of her fritter with Aleysha doing the same. "We don't have to go in yet. There is still a town to explore. Might as well get at least one souvenir." She turned to her friend to see red scales on her face with her own being a deep black coloring. They didn't notice their own scales, but turning to each other, they saw it. Tiffany thought the scales were just crumbs from the fritter. "You have a little... something..." she pointed to her face to try and get it across was Aleysha watched in confusion as their heads turn into snouts.
Their full heads were looking more draconic. Their hair turned into manes with horns sprouting on their head. As they ate, the scales crawled faster down and covered everything in half a minute. Claws grew out and a tail squirmed just above the pants to lay almost at leg length. They were full dragons by the last couple bites with Tiffany being a red dragon with a yellow underbelly and Aleysha being black and green, but they didn't react to it for some reason. The most reactions they got was admiring how being a dragon looked on the other person. They didn't even notice it on themselves.
Aleysha blinked a bit before the conversation came back up"So, what were we saying? Oh, right. You sure we should get into the motel? I saw an antique place just a few buildings down. We can get something before we check in."
