"No, nothing is wrong." said Luna gazing at her closed fist. "Everything is perfectly fine."
Luna looked at her closed hand with wonder, she did not dare open her hand in case the creature she caught tried to escape. Even at the moment she saw it she knew it was no ordinary bug. It looked like a miniaturized human like the ones she read about in fairy tales. She felt the creature wiggling as though it were looking for a way out. She raised her fist to her lips and whispered one command.
"Stop!"
The movement in her hand immediately ceased. It understood then. It was intelligent. Good, maybe it was smart enough to say where she was about to put it.
While her Bear friend wasn't looking, Luna slipped the creature into the deep pocket of her dress for safe keeping. If Beth had known about the creature Luna was certain she'd want to let it go rather than have a bit of fun with it. The wolfess had every intention of doing the same, but not just yet.
Maybe she'd keep it as a pet.
David sat and listened to the sounds of the world outside of the pocket. He contemplated escape but thought against it. Even if he could manage to climb out of the pocket there was still a few hundred feet to the floor. As afraid as he was, he couldn't help but feel equally excited. After all, he'd fantasized about something like this for years. His whole life. But Fantasy and reality were two different things. Still, he had a feeling that this wolfess didn't want him dead. If that were the case she'd have killed him already. It was getting warm in the pocket and David found himself removing some articles of clothing. A while later...
