"We both have our benefits like this," Emily continued over the phone, "Maybe this won't be so bad."
I was puzzled by what Emily had in mind. "What do you mean?" I asked.
Emily replied to my question. "Jordan Andrews goes to the same college you do, right?"
"Right?"
"As it just so happens, Jordan used to be my boyfriend, until I found him flirting with another girl."
"What's your point?"
"Well, I've just been...exploring...your body, and I think that there is more than enough strength in this body..."
I knew where Emily was going. I always knew that Emily was a little bit nuts, but I couldn't believe that she was actually hinting this. "I know what you're thinking Emily," I explained to her, terrified by what she had in mind, "But you don't have to do this. He may have cheated on you, but he's still my friend, and I won't let you harm him in anyway!"
"Oh really?" Emily asked sarcastically. "And exactly what are you going to do about it?"
There was not much that I could do. Who would ever believe that I had swapped bodies with Emily? Certainly not Jordan Andrews!
"Now if you excuse me," Emily concluded, "I'm off to college. Jordan's going to wish that he's never been born after I'm through with him!" And with that said, Emily hung me up.
I threw the phone on the bed in frustration. I wanted to do something to stop this crazy woman from doing anything that she may end up regretting, but what could I do? There was no way that Jordan was going to listen to reason with me, now that I'm in the body of his psycho ex-girlfriend!
