Within a few moments, Chloe (one of Megan's two high school teammates here) mentions feeling tingly. A few others nod in agreement. Megan insists that's just because they haven't been working out this hard in a while. Then all at once, all 12 girls simultaneously shrink to 1/12th their size. Joey lets out an audible "whoa" at the sight. He then goes around the room with a ruler and a clipboard and starts documenting the change.

Michelle (Age 19, 6'1--->6.083 inches tall)
Jennifer (Age 20, 5'10--->5.83 inches tall)
Chloe (Age 16, 5'5--->5.416 inches tall)
Sophie (Age 17, 5'4--->5.3 inches tall)
Alice (Age 18, 5'5--->5.416 inches tall)
Niki (Age 19, 5'--->5 inches tall)
Keira (Age 18, 5'2--->5.16 inches tall)
Emily (Age 21, 5'5--->5.416 inches tall)
Natalie (Age 18, 4'10--->4.83 inches tall)

And of course

Many of the girls cried out to Joey for help and were confused and terrified when he grabbed them and moved them next to his ruler. Megan was especially caught of guard by Joey's cold calculating in the face of their situation.

Joey marveled at how perfectly the formula had worked. It even shrunk their volleyball shorts and T-shirts with them. Maybe that had something to do with how much they had been sweating? More testing would be required.

"Hold on, I'll be right back"

And without another word to the pleading dozen of tiny volleyball players, Joey wheeled the water cooler back out to his truck, careful not to spill a drop.
