Jen gave a squeak of terror when Rachel suddenly appeared in front of her. Seeing something so large move so quickly was unnerving to her. A gust of wind blew past her and stirred the dust on the floor slightly from the few steps Rachel had taken when she approached.
Rachel appeared equally frightened as she realized the small creature on the ground was her friend. She took a step back in surprise. "Oh my god... Jen, what happened?"
"I don't know Rachel...I...I told you the water in the pool seemed funny, well, I got back here and was just going to shower when I started to feel really strange and the next minute I was shrinking.", Jen said as tears began rolling down her cheeks, "What am I going to do Rachel? I don't want to be like this forever!".
As she said this, Jen sat down, pulling her knees to her chest and began to cry dejectedly.
Rachel knelt down by her friend, afraid someone would walk by and see them in the next instant, "Jen, we need to hide you until we can figure out what to do. Is there anyone else in here?"
"I don't think so Rachel", Jen said, wiping her eyes.
