She searches the place to no avail

Rouge began searching the many piles of robot parts looking for the smallest trace of an emerald, but it seemed she was out of luck.

Suddenly, a hidden door opens towards the back of the barn. Rouge scrambled to a hiding spot, they hadn't seen her.

Worker1: "so why does robotnik need these special gems?"

Worker2: "Well sonic has hidden the chaos emeralds, so the boss invented a few with major side effects."

Worker1: "what kind of effects?"

Worker2: "they haven't been tested yet dumby!"

The workers leave a crate in the centre of the room and retreat back through the hidden door

Rouge: "special gems, huh? Don't mind if I do."

Rouge flys to the crate and pops open the top, the box has a singular crystal.
