Rouge had trouble sleeping one night. In lack of better ideas, she figured she might as well go outside to catch some fresh air. So she struggled out of bed, picked up a comfy blanket to wrap over her underwear, while she slipped into a comfy pair of big pink slippers and headed out into the night, hoping to clear up her mind.
Rouge head had begun to ache. She contemplated her thoughts from earlier in the night. She'd tossed around for a long while under her bedcovers, thinking about her naked body... Rouge sighed, as she sat down at a conveniently placed bench, with one hand stroking her aching forehead, while the other held her blanket tight around her.
Rouge looked up at the starry night sky. It was unusually beautiful this night. (Or perhaps it looked this beautiful every night. Rouge wasn't sure. She hadn't thought to look at the stars for a very long time.) Seeing the stars shine and twinkle made Rouge feel... calm. She was unsure about why the night sky was so calming for her on her this night. She tried shrugging this sensation off, not worrying about - but some unnameable instinct in the back of her mind insisted that she continued looking for another few minutes. To continue to look until something happened.
Rouge saw a falling star.
In the moments thereafter, she closed her eyes, clasped her hands and silently made a wish.
She didnt overthink this wish, she didn't hesistate on it. She finally realised that this wish was something she had unconciously been desiring for years and years; so, it was worth a shot.
Rouge felt her mind clear up very quickly after her wish was made. Her headache disappeared and she quickly felt a strong mix mix of happiness... and tiredness.
Rouge headed home, happy - but now knowing why. (Yet. )
In her bed, as the nights hours passed by, Rouge was having the most satisfying sleep of her life.
Rouge awoke the next day, and immediately realised she'd gained an ability, because: ...!
