It was the middle of the night when Hermione woke up, she had fallen asleep in the common room while waiting for Harry to get back from his detention with umbridge.
she could hear a noise, like a soft crying or whimpering from somewhere and glanced around, she spotted him almost immediately, there curled up in the corner crying and hugging himself was her best friend.
she rushed over to him as fast as she could, tripping over a ottoman on the way and then wrapped him in a crushing hug.
"Oh harry what did that horrible woman do to you?"
"Oh, It was horrible hermione, sh-sh-she took off her shoes and then this smell this horrible horrible smell filled the room." He sobbed out, "I thought I was going to choke on it Hermione, and then the look of those, those big hairy fat feet it was revolting." he said. "I never want to see a foot again!"
She could see the pain in his eyes and it hurt her to know that Harry might have a fear of feet for the rest of his life because of that foul woman, it was then that Hermione decided that she would help Harry not only get over his fear, but also learn to love them instead. 'Well at the very least he'll learn to love mine,' she though
"Harry not everyone's feet are that bad," she told him, "have a look at mine, are they bad?"
He really didn't want to look at her feet but he could rarely say no to Hermione so he glanced down, he only looked for a second at first but that was all it took for Hermione's perfect toes to draw his eyes back to them, the way they looked and wiggled how they seemed so impossibly soft and smooth. 'And not a single hair in sight' he thought to himself.
"That's right Harry don't they look nice?" She asked. " And I promise they don't smell bad either.. Would you like to smell them Harry?"
