As they exited the store, Becky whispered to George.
"So do you think, she's telling the truth?" Becky inquisitively asked George.
"You really believed her?" George asked. He was surprised that Becky could be so gullible.
"That's just an old mountain tale" he told her.
"I don't know... that story was pretty convincing." Becky said.
"Well I can't believe it, but if you do..." George said as he took the ring off and gave it to Becky. She put it on her finger, it seemed like a perfect fit.
The two continued walking down the Parkway and soon forgot about the ring. Eventually they passed the Cades Cove riding stables.
"How about a ride through the cove on horseback?" Becky asked.
"Sure, that sounds like fun." George replied.
George and Becky walked into the Office and met an older man.
"Can I help you?" he asked.
"Yes, we'd like to rent a pair of horses for a couple of hours." George said.
"That'll be $100 dollars" the man replied.
George pulled out his credit card and soon enough the man was leading them toward the stables.
