as Homer wandered around the mall, buying donuts and other treats along the way, he came across a store called 'The Circumference Zone'
Homer looked in through the window and saw that it was a sweet shop; he thought it was a bit of an odd name but entered anyway. Where he was greeted by members of staff as he walked through the store looking; all saying welcome.
The staff were wearing cowboy gear and tipped their hats as they spoke to him. As Homer wandered around the store; he picked up a few things here and there and eventually found himself in the jelly bean section; looking through the section he came across the brand 'Jelly Belly' and thought to himself 'hehe I'll have one of those soon'
As he loaded up bag after bag of jelly belly beans; Homer noticed a sign on the wall saying 'you could be our winner', he walked over to it and saw leaflets below it saying
'We at Jelly Belly, love our customers and nothing makes us happier than seeing our customers happy.
We are offering a winner the chance to win a life time supply of jelly belly beans, and a chance to become the new face of jelly belly!
All you need to do is send in a photo of yourself with our brand and we'll select the winner
applicants must submit these by 30th October, post this and the photo and any other details you wish to send, address is on the back'
Homer thought; 'whoa a life time supply and a chance to become the new face! He imagined himself a lot fatter with a slogan next to him saying 'I love jelly bellies so much; I decided to become one'
Homer grabbed a another 3 bags full of the sweets and left for the cashier. As he loaded up all his sweets he had to ask 'so, this competition can be entered by anybody right? There's no limitations or anything?'
'No sir; its free entry, you got nothing to lose! And more to gain!' The young cashier said
'Oh you don't know how right you are' Homer said under his breath
'Whats that sir?' The cashier asked
'Oh nothing' Homer said 'so how much do I owe you?' Homer asked
'Well its a total of $30; but lets just call it $20, I get the feeling that we'll be seeing a lot of you' the cashier said
'Oh well, thanks!' Homer said as he handed over the 20 bucks. As he walked out of the store, he turned his head to see the young cashier looking back and smiling, then sort of fumbled with something on the counter as if to stop Homer noticing
Homer smiled and headed back to the car with a plan in mind
'Well its September 15th now; I've got a few weeks to gain some weight, then I'll send in my photo!' Homer said to himself as he downed a few of the jelly belly sweets.
