"Hey." you say. "Have you thought about joining a sorority?"
"Um. I guess." she says. "Why?"
"I'm going to try to join one tonight." you say. "Why don't you come too?"
"Um." she thinks for a moment. "Okay."
At quarter to 6 you return to the sorority house with Sophia. There are already two other girls waiting outside. They introduce themselves as Kate and Sally. Just before 6 a fourth girl arrives, running.
"I'm not late am I?" she asks.
"No." you tell her, looking at your watch. "I think you just made it."
"Cool." she says. "I'm Janet."
"Emma." you introduce yourself. "This is Sophia."
That moment the front door opens and a group of girls emerge from the house. "Welcome pledges. My name is Laura" announces one of the eldest. "Come inside and we will get started with your initiation."
She leads you all inside. The house is amazing, it would be a much nicer place to stay than the dormitory.
"This will be your room." she says, opening a door. "Until you quit or we accept you as full members."
The four of you file into the room and are shocked by what you find. It looks like a large nursery. There is a queen-sized bed against one of the walls with a high rail around it, making it into a giant cot. On the opposite wall is a large table with a padded plastic top. The stacks of diapers and changing supplies on the shelves underneath give away it's purpose.
"What the hell is this?" Sally demands.
"All members of our sorority must start as babies." Laura explains. "If you don't like it then leave."
Sally does exactly that. "No sorority is worth this." Kate follows her.
You look at Sophia for some idea what to do but she appears to be waiting for you to make the decision.
