It was a normal day in Domino City, and at the Kame Game shop, Yugi was minding the store while his grandfather was out running errands. An unmarked package had just arrived on the doorstep, and as a curious Yugi opened it, he found that the only thing it contained was a blank Duel Monster card. It was green, which marked it as a spell card, but there was no picture, no title, or anything else to identify it.
"Huh? What kind of card is this?" Yugi asked. Suddenly the door opened and Yugi's friends Tea, Joey, Tristan, Mai, Serenity, Duke, and Rebecca walked in.
"Hey Yugi," Tea greeted, before noticing the card, "What's that?"
"It's some card someone left on the doorstep," Yugi replied, "But there's nothing on it."
"That's weird," Joey said.
"Yeah, what kind of card doesn't have anything on it?" Mai agreed.
Suddenly the card started glowing, and a burst of light enveloped the group.
