It was a seemingly normal at Duel Academy, and Jaden was making his way to class. Suddenly, he noticed something lying on the ground, and picked it up to see that it was a card. It was green, indicating it was a spell card, but other than that, it was blank. No picture, name, or text.
"Whats with this weird card?" he wondered out loud.
"Be careful." Yubel said. "It doesn't feel normal. There is something weird about it..."
Jaden was examing the card when he heard someone call out to him. "Hey Jaden." Alexis said as she walked up to him, accompanied by the rest of his friends; Syrus, Hassleberry, Chazz, Blair, Jesse, and Alexis's friends Jasmine and Mindy.
"What are you doing alone?" Blair asked.
"Hm? Whats that card you've got there, Jaden?" Jesse asked as he walked up next to him to get a better look at it.
"I don't know. I just found it." he responded.
"Sure looks weird." Syrus remarked.
"And useless. Its completely blank." Chazz said.
Then suddenly, the card began to glow, and emitted a bright light that engulfed the group.
