This choice: Sakura accepts Naruto's challenge • Go Back...Chapter #6Naruto Demonstrates He Did Not Learn His Lesson by: jedsho1234   Sakura finally decided to trust Naruto when he said he would be fine. She was touched that he would push himself like this just to prove to her that he learned the lesson she forced upon him. She decided to offer him a reward for his sweetness.
"Ok Naruto, but let's make it more interesting. If you win, I will go on three dates with you."
Naruto's eyes widened in surprise. Sakura knew how strong he was, she knew he always held back against her in spars and usually beat her in spars... Surely she knew she didn't stand a chance against him if he wasn't holding back. What she was basically doing was straight up asking him out on three dates!"
"But if I win, then you..." Sakura tapped her finger against her chin in thought. She knew she wasn't going to win, so she could make this something crazy to get a rise out if him. "Ooh! If I win, you'll be my slave for the rest of our lives."
"WHAT?!" Naruto gasped with a comical expression on his shocked face.
"Well, the only reason I would win is because you wouldn't be taking me seriously. And if spending 40 hours sniffing and worshiping my smelly ass isn't enough to teach you to never underestimate me then I obviously have to take more extreme measures."
"But being your slave forever?! I only get three dates if I win!"
"No duh. We both know that I can't beat you yet if you take me seriously, and I trust you when you say you learned your lesson. So I'm basically offering to go on three dates with you and giving you a very good reason to earn those dates." Sakura explained.
"Oh... Well you got a deal then Sakura!" Naruto grinned. He reached out and shook her hand to make the bet official. He stepped back and entered both his complete jinchuriki mode and sage modes and Sakura grinned in excitement. She would finally be able to see how far she had to go.
Once the spar started, no one would be surprised to find out that Naruto was easily kicking Sakura's ass. His speed was just too much for her.
So even though ten minutes into the spar found Sakura gasping for breath, with her entire body being sore, she was grinning. Naruto appeared to be taking her seriously so far. This fight was pretty much done. She would just give him one more test to make sure he would never again underestimate her, which Sakura was sure Naruto would pass.
She rushed her friend and allowed him to strike her in the midsection. She pushed her feet from the ground and went hurdling backwards in a dramatic fashion. She was being as obvious as she could that she was faking it. Naruto should see that, know that she didn't break after his strike and press his advantage.
Sakura was lightly disappointed when he did no such thing, but figured he was just being cautious. She decided to ham it up a little more to prompt him into action.
"Oooh." Sakura groaned in a dramatic voice. She tried to stand, but purposefully fell to her back. "Oh Naruto, that strike really hurt my leg." Sakura lied. She purposefully mentioned her leg, since Naruto would realize he struck her midsection. He would know it was impossible for his strike to hurt her leg.
Sakura frowned when Naruto did not move to press his advantage. But... he had been so good this entire spar! He hadn't held back. He was just being extra cautious. The horrified look on his face was just him acting. It had to be.
"Come help me, will you Naruto?" Sakura asked in the most meek and pathetic voice she could muster. Surely he would pick up on that! He knew how prideful she was! He knew she would never use that tone of voice!
In a matter of seconds, Naruto was by her side muttering profuse apologies as he scooped her into his arms.
To say Sakura was disappointed was an understatement. After all that talk, he still ended up not taking her seriously in the end! He knew damn well a strike like the one he hit her with wouldn't take her out like this! He had seen her take worse!
She dropped a senbon into her hands and wrapped her arms around Naruto's neck so that her senbon was pressing against his jugular.
"You lose slave." Sakura sighed. "You didn't take me seriously AGAIN! I was obviously acting, you should've known I would be fine after that strike."
"But... I was just worried about you! I thought I hurt you! Please don't make me be your slave Sakura!" Naruto begged. He couldn't believe he did it again! How could he underestimate her a second time after she punished him so badly last time?
"We made a bet Naruto, and shook on it to make it official. I won our spar, so as per the terms of our bet, you are now my slave." Sakura sighed.
"Please don't though Sakura! I wouldn't have made you go on those dates if you didn't want to!"
Sakura knew Naruto was telling the truth. And becoming her slave forever just for taking her lightly again was a little much. She should probably just give him a different punishment. Like making him her slave for three days, weeks or months or something. Or by making him humiliate himself in public or something...
But she was so disappointed! This was Naruto! He was supposed to always believe in her, he wasn't supposed to underestimate her. He even told her he learned his lesson and he wouldn't underestimate her anymore! Then what does he do? Goes and proves he didn't learn his lesson just over ten minutes after he told her he learned it!
Permanently enslaving Naruto would ensure he would always respect her and her strength...  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
