Naruto smiled as he looked at Temari. Temari was a brilliant and fiery blonde who just so happened to be Gaara's sister, and who seemed to have a thing for Shikamaru (who coincidentally seemed to have a thing for her as well). For the most part, Naruto had always gotten along with Temari. She was always especially grateful to him after he saved Gaara's life.
"Hey Temari, on another ambassador mission?" Gaara seeing his sister's interest in Shikamaru created the position of "Ambassador to Konoha" so she could spend plenty of time around him. Although did find it strange that both she and Shikamaru seemed interested in each other, yet they never went beyond what might be able to be called flirting.
"Yea, Gaara had enough of me harping on him to propose Matsuri already and sent me off to Konoha." Temari joked with a smile on her face.
"Jeez? He still hasn't proposed? They've been together for almost four years."
"I know!" Temari agreed.
"Hey listen Naruto, since I'm stuck here in Konoha for a while why don't we..."
