A stout looking red yoshi (probably the chef, you couldn't remember) came in the room followed by a few servants, all of them holding platter of some sort of food or drink. One yoshi had a plate of sandwiches, another had a dish with a variety of little snack foods, the third had a plate with a large pitcher of milk (which was odd, but you didn't much care), and two had whole platters of desserts! "Sir, we have the food you ordered." The stout yoshi seemed pleased with the way you nearly tore into the entire meal. Yeah, he definitely had to be the chef.
You instantly dug in to the meal, trying to lower the stress of the looming banquet by doing what has recently come naturally to you. Eating. The chef had outdone himself with the food, everything tasted better than usual, like he had prepared it for Bowser himself. This fact just made you eat faster, and before you knew it, everything was gone. You scarfed down the sandwiches, ate every snack, drank the entire pitcher of milk, and devoured the two plates of dessert. When you came back to the world of the living, the chef, the servants, and your friend all looked at you incredulously. "Uh... sir, maybe we should get you to your room for a little a rest, and I'll make sure the decorations are sped up." The food stupor you were in made you agree with the short yellow yoshi and he led you to your royal bedroom. Your friend got you laying down in the bed, and he made sure you were absolutely comfortable before he left.
Then about ten seconds later your eyes shot open, and you jumped (as much as a yoshi your size could) out of bed and startled your friend. You were instantly aware of the banquet that had to be ready in three days. No... not three days. You remembered, and all your stress instantly came back with full force. "TWO DAYS!!! HE'S COMING A DAY EARLY!"
"Sir it's alright, I was just supervising the decorating, it's going smoothly. We should be done late tonight, which will give us all of tomorrow to prepare the food." Your friend (who's name I will leave up to somebody else) said in a calm and soothing voice. You felt a little better after hearing that.
"Alright... but I still need to supervise and-"
"No, you are going to go sleep right now! You've been up too much, and if Bowser sees you like this he won't like it." That was shocking to you. Nobody talked that way to you! Except maybe your parents at some point. But then again this was your most trusted friend, and he was right.
