Gwen enjoyed the summer despite the constant alien and crime fighting she had to do with her cousin. Ben was a bit annoying but she started to grow closer to him. Though that was costing her a bit. She was able to use magic and such but the cost was that she was becoming lazy. It wasn't a problem but soon it would show how much of a problem it was. They were at a campsite and their grandfather was making up one of his nasty tasting meals. When finished, it looked actually quite good.
"I'll try it first, Ben." Gwen said.
"Have at it." Ben said.
She got a plate full of it and took a bite. Despite still looking fairly bad, it tasted quite good. Ben got some and liked it as well, but not as much as Gwen. Grandpa Max liked it and got some before Gwen ate it all. By the end, Gwen ate most of it and liked it. Seeing how much she was starting to eat and how lazy she was becoming, this could be a problem. Then again, it was summer and they were trying to enjoy it.
