She did feel uneasy talking to Harry now since Harry was in Slytherin. But Hermione felt that Harry would remember her repairing his glasses on the train from Platform 9 1/2. She even said ' Hope your glasses are secure to your ultimate satisfaction. She tried to sound welcoming as possible to hm but not too friendly.

Harry touched his glasses and said ' It is OK so far.' Then he whispered in a low voice ' Thanks'

Hermione then said again to Harry ' so how about hanging out sometimes' Harry shuddered at what his fellow Slytherins might think of him. But Harry almost was beginning to like her. Harry paused a minute. Nobody seemed to be around except for a wandering cat that did not seem to be lost.

Then Harry replied to her
