After splashing her fingers around in the water a bit, Vivi grew bored and wiped some debris from her fingers, sending tons of earth that once was inhabited islands, now nothing but annoying dirt specks that had the misfortune of getting stuck to the pads of her fingers. "Well, guess I'm really the only person actually around." She sighed to herself, leaning back and planting her hands once again into the 'puddle', feeling the earth give way a bit beneath her weight, sending a shoot of cracks through tectonic plates in the area, generating more and more damaging earthquakes, but obviously not even felt by the overgrown princess.
"Must be...on a small island somewhere. Can't be that big, the landscape doesn't seem to stretch that much." She continued to speak to herself, humming a tuneless song to herself, sending echoes and booms heard all over the globe. Marine forces had already been dispatched to 'deal' with her, if you could even deal with a giant big enough to crush an entire country beneath her, World Government leaders were already discussing what to do with the enlarged princess, and pirates were already raring for an adventure on this newly formed landmass, joking about visiting her mountains and such.
Of course, Vivi knew nothing of any of this. To her, she was still her normal sized self and not the biggest living thing on the planet, giving even the greatest giants and monsters of legend a run for their money in sheer size and power she now possessed.
She had thought about getting up and exploring, our just sit tight and wait out. She might've slipped into one of those strange oasis's one occasionally finds in the desert, and she's still in Alabasta somewhere. Perhaps some guards will come and fetch her in no time flat. Maybe even the whole scene of her growing was just a fever dream, it was rather hot in that tower, and there was dangers of not keeping properly hydrated and cooled in such a hot climate.
With another annoyed sigh at all of this, Vivi decided to stay put. Besides, the ground neath her was actually pretty comfy, forming perfectly round her soft butt. While she sat and waited, her long and elegant fingers went back up to fiddling with the scarab necklace she had found while in the tower. The gem flashed briefly, but not enough for Vivi to take notice as she longingly gazed into the distance, mind wandering off.
Vivi didn't even notice as she began to grow, just by the slightest of inches to her, but hundreds of feet to those who were smaller, her size drastically changing by the second. Reports were sent out to nearby islands of the growing goddess, people actually having a chance to be prepared this time and possibly avoid being crushed by her.
Entire islands and cities were being evacuated, fleeing from the expanding form of Vivi on the horizon, who seemed to not even care or notice as her body grew more and more, taking up miles of the ocean as her long legs only loomed further over the area, her rear crashing into the earth and creating more cracks, and her upper body looming so high up she disappeared into a blur, making the cloud layer seem all too pitiful as it tried to keep up with her ever-increasing height.
Eventually her growth hit a kickstart as she only continued to play with the scarab piece, whatever causing her to grow touch-based as her fingers played with the jewel insect. From inches to her did her growth shoot up to feet, and Vivi did take notice now, making her wide eyes blink a bit as she took it all in. "Oh...guess it was real then. I'm growing...again!" She exclaimed, long leaving behind her tiny form of crushing Alabasta underneath. Now she grew onwards for miles and miles, crushing the smaller landmasses underneath and against her bulldozing form easily. Vivi didn't even take notice of them, thinking they were bits of dirt or rocks that simply laid about in the puddle.
It wasn't until her head was high up in the atmosphere did...things begin to settle in with her. The area around her seemed to lessen only more and more, the usual amount of land diminishing greatly. The sky before her no longer seemed blue, but greyish, then finally, black like the night sky littered with stars. Far below, she could make out the area like a map, literally.
The world was becoming like a map before her, and she gasped in realization just at how colossal she truly was now, and still growing all the same.
