However, just as Buttercup brought the mirror to your face, it caught a strong ray of light, which blasted into your eyes.
"I can't see!" you shrieked. You tried to rub your eyes, but your fingers felt a little long, and you felt skin between each of them, your skin. "What's happening?"
"Easy there," Buttercup said as she placed a paw on your shoulder. "I forgot how sensitive your kind are to sunlight. Just shut your eyes, and I'll get you a light colored blindfold that will allow you to see, without being blinded."
There was something about her tone that told you that you could trust her. You laid down, closed your eyes, and began to slow your breathing. A moment later, you felt her place some cloth over your eyes.
"Tilt your head forward," she said. You sat up a bit, and she finished doing what she was doing, in tying the cloth around your head. "There, you should see just fine now."
When you opened your eyes, everything seemed green. After a moment though, you were seeing shadows, just like you had before the other cloth had been taken off.
"I'm sorry about that," said Buttercup. "Would you like me to show you around?"
