Hermione opened her mouth to argue, but nothing came out, as she decided that arguing with the hot headed Ginny was pointless.

Feeling trapped with no options, Hermione decided some magic was the only way forward. She reached into her robe for her wand-

Hermione was too slow, and her wand hit the floor just before her rigid body did. Ginny had had her hand on her wand the moment she saw Hermione.
