This choice: Fine, back to the hideout! • Go Back...Chapter #6New Powers, Old Tricks by: bill Eventually Harley conceded, and drove back to their hideout. They pulled into an abandoned fairground on the edge of the city, where Batgirl, trapped in Poison Ivy's body, began having sudden flashbacks, not of her own past, but of Ivy's. She suddenly remembered that she had arranged a deal with the clown prince of crime himself, the Joker!
"I'll be back now Red, just gotta catch up with my puddin'." Harley skipped off further into the fairground as Batgirl sat alone in the car.
Alone, she started to think of the dark knight. Her only hope of figuring out a way to sort this dilemma out was to contact him, but in the body of such a formidable adversary, would he be able to recognize her? Upon her second thought however, she suddenly felt blistering anger and rage at the mere thought of the caped crusader. She snapped out of it, realizing that it was Ivy once again trying to take over her mind.
"What am I going to do?" she asked herself, "I'm a criminal hiding out with Harley Quinn, and I'm starting to think and act more and more like Poison Ivy!"
Suddenly it came to her. She was in the body of Poison Ivy. This meant that she also had her powers! To test this out, she reached out her hand out of the car, focusing on the dirt below, and suddenly a vine shot from the ground, delicately dancing around her arm. She stepped out of the car and gave it another go, and suddenly a much larger vine burst out and swooped her off her feet.
"Wow," she thought to herself, "This is cool!"
Little did she realize was that the more she used these abilities, the more mental changes she would develop, and the more she would become like Ivy herself.
However, before she could explore her powers any further... indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
