Mike makes a wish on a shooting star.

Mike looked longingly up at the shooting star as it shot overhead. Muttering to himself, more than anyone else. "I just wish that Ben wouldn't bully me." outside the window, the star seemed to flare, as if in answer to his sincere prayer.

He just felt more vulnerable with Jack moving out, he was worried that Ben might escalate his behaviour. Stifling a yawn, Mike checked the time, and decided it was time for bed. Stretching, he undressed and got into bed.
