Pretent to be a girl in the internet chat

It was getting late and I was fixing to leave the chat room and shut down the computer for the night.

Then, an idea hit me!

Now, I don’t know if it was the frustration from having no one respond to my messages or loneliness from the lack of human interaction, even if it was just online. Maybe I was just tired so I wasn’t thinking clearly. However, I was jealous that girls got instant responses simply because their profiles say Female. And if they could do it why couldn’t I?

"If they can do it, maybe I can just follow their example" I reasoned to myself.

So I logged out and created a new profile. In the new profile, I chose the name "Jesse" and made the gender "Female". I wasn’t exactly sure what to put so I just figured I would just make it vague and change the profile depending on who I was talking to. Of course, this would need to work before I could do that.

So, with that in mind, I confirm the information and agree to the sites terms of use.

Moments later, I receive a message.

"Wow, that was fast" I said, amazed. Then, another came in, and then yet another. I was surprised that, not only did it work, but that it worked so fast. I was right. Girls do get noticed the moment they get on.

"Ok, let's work this baby out" I said with confidence.

Before long, I was looking at an unfamiliar site with a full chat bar. I randomly click on...
