"Hey Mom wake up!” I heard Katy say. I thought she left and why was she calling me "Mom".
I opened my eyes and see my girlfriend standing over me.
"I see you came back." I said but my voice sounded strange.
"Oh yeah Mom I did because Nick is a jerk. “She said folding her arms across her chest.
"What the fuck? Why do you keep calling me that?"I asked, “Are you feeling okay, here let me help you up.” She says
Katy ran over to me and helped me easily out of bed. She showed me my reflection in the mirror. Except it wasn't mine it was Marsha’s.
She was a slim brunette with crow’s feet dressed in a black nightgown. I had been turned into my girlfriend's mother! And I wasn't happy. I know it is what I wished for but I guess I never believed it would actually happen.
I had just lost 22 years of my life and gotten a sex change! I couldn’t have sex with Katy or any girl ever again!
"You don't look happy Nick, isn’t this what you wanted?" She asked.
"Babe, you were right. I take it back. Women have it hard." I said sighing. "That’s right but I think it will be better if you learn that first hand.“ she declared.
I wondered if Katy did this somehow. I wanted to grab her and demand she change me back but I don't think that would have done any good. I felt an urge for a cigarette. I didn't smoke but Marsha did. I wouldn't give in to it. Smoking was bad for you. The craving was so strong that I decided what the hell.
This wasn't my body anyway. I took one out of her pack with my manicured nails from the night table. I put it in my mouth and lit it with the lighter. Katy looked surprised but didn't say anything.
I couldn’t stand cigarettes and even though Marsha’s body was use to it, it didn’t make smoking any better.
"Nick, I mean Mom don't forget you are starting your new job today.” she said."What? Your mom doesn't work and I don't believe she would." I said.
"She didn't work but she needs the money. She just got a job as a secretary."
