Chapter #6

The Alicorn and the Creature

(Twilight Sparkle POV) I wake up to the feeling of some kind of drool-like substance landing on me. I look up to see what is arguably the most supernatural creature I’ve ever seen in my entire life! It was as big as that hydra I encountered way back when I was trying to prove that there was no such thing as “pinky-sense”, scaly in appearance like that of a Cragadile, and had three cylinder shaped spikes on the front of it’s stomach! I fly up and land on the tip of the middle spike, which is cold to the touch! And I mean cold; one of the spikes of this creature alone could extinguish the strongest dragon fire any centuries old dragon could muster! And from the looks of it, the creature hasn’t shed in a while! I try to fire a beam from my horn to break apart a nearby patch of dead skin, but apparently magic doesn’t work in my current location! So I instead firmly grip it with my teeth and give a slight tug. In an instant, 3/4 of the dry skin is removed, causing me to stumble off the middle spike entirely! Good thing the failed teleportation kept my wings in tact! I watch the remaining 1/4 piece fall off and flutter down harmlessly to the hard ground. I’m all ready to leave, but my body wouldn’t listen. In fact, my heart is pounding faster than normal. The next thing I know, my mouth is suddenly ensnared by an elongated mouth tentacle! Realization hits me—hard! We’ve fallen in love with each other!!! My face is blushing profusely! Right at that moment though, I’m teleported all over again!
