After the food they were taken down to Eraxus. The shuttle was large and comfortable and they were offered drinks and snacks by the wait staff. The conversation was still carefull, neither side wanted to talk about the more serious issues before they knew where they had each other. As the conversation dragged on, Sam noticed that the waitstaff to was rather overweight, he took a look around the room and realised there was no skinny Eraxi there.
"The result of decades of surplus food" he thought to himself. Sam had always taken pride in his fit body, specially his chiseled abs, he hoped it was a decent gym he could use at their resident. the brand new Earth Embassy.
The shuttle landed at the main airport in the Eraxi capital, Rax. Since the Eraxi is bigger than humans Sam felt like a dwarf as he walked through the tall door and into the airport itself. Instead of a floor there was a huge roller carpet to take them the 100 meters to the waiting car.
The buildings were not so much unlike earth, but most humanoid lifeforms had similar architecture due to similar requirements, but where humans had gone for squares, Eraxi was most found of triangles.
The car waiting for them was designed for humans, and had smaller seats. As he entered Sam realised it was a hoover car and made a mental note to ask the Eraxi for that technology, humans had tried for centuries, but not been able create a useful hoover car.
