Ugh...of all the titles this book can be called, it had to be that embarrassing. "Oh, just some silly romance novel." you lied. You hid the book back in the plastic bag, hoping he tried not to look at the title.
"Oh okay," he said, "I'll go home and get my trunks and meet you back at your place."
"Okay, sounds good." You left the mall and hurried home. You unlocked the door and tossed the bag onto the table. Bee glanced straight at you and meowed. You paid no attention to her as you rushed to your room. You quickly slipped out of your outfit and began to slip on your swimsuit, which was only a two piece bikini. You looked at yourself in the mirror, making sure you were presentable. You then heard the front door open and Bryce's voice telling you he was here. Shit! You just remembered that you left the book on the kitchen table. You ran out of the room and into the kitchen, only to see him in nothing but a T-shirt and his swim trunks, reading the opened book you bought from the mall.
"Fat is where it's at? Sounds like a great romance novel." he chuckled.
"Bryce, I swear I have no idea why I bought that book." you explained. "It was like...something made me buy that book."
"It's alright," he said, "It actually looks like a good read." Thank goodness he didn't find it too weird. "Can you imagine if these spells were actually real? Listen to this one."
