Immediately, people all over the world lay down their guns, quit making suicide bombs, and opened the gates and traps erected to separate waring factions. Soon, enemies began to hug each other and stopped fighting over food, water, and other resources they had protected for years.
The population began to grow exponentially with all this availability. All military disbanded and the industrial-military complex closed up since they were no longer needed. This set off a domino effect in the financial and other industries flooding the world with unemployed who now felt useless and unwanted and were unable to make a living to support themselves or their families. The number of mental breakdowns and suicides skyrocketed overloading health care and support systems. Food and water shortly became very scarce with the overcrowding, and natural resources were plundered as peace allowed anyone to do anything they wanted except fight amongst themselves. The world ended up barren with human life just a miserable existence to which death was more desired.
