"I understand." Mister Osaki says. "Matsumoto-san will take you to your new home. We didn't even had anything big planned for the next week."
As fast as you got there you are already leaving. Mister Matsumoto takes you to the waiting cab and you both drive off.
After nearly an hour the cab stops and you both get out. You stand before a building looking like a small dormitory, just the ground-floor and the first floor.
"This is were you will be staying." Mister Matsumoto says walking ahead and the cab driver carrying your bag following him. You follow them to the first floor and their to the eighth and last door. Mister Matsumoto opens the door. As you enter the apartment you notice a small step. Not knowing what it is for you just walk over it.
"Please take of your shoes." Mister Matsumoto says immediately. "In Japan you do not walk into a room with your shoes on."
A little shocked of his sudden surge of emotion you look at him in disbelief, but after a few seconds you take of your shoes.Holding them you walk through your new home seeing the small bath, a small kitchen in the hallway and the living room, eight tatami mats big, with a small table, a cupboard with a TV and a phone on it and the sliding door of the small wall closet, where the futon was stocked away.
"That is your bed." Mister Matsumoto says putting your bag on the side. "If you need anything please feel free to call me." He puts a note with his phone-number on the table. "If you would now excuse me." With a bow he walks backwards and leaves the apartment.
All alone look a second time all over your new home. You notice the bath doesn't have a shower or tube and wonder what you should do without one? You are too tired to think about it. So you take the futon out of the closet noticing you have to put the table aside to fully lay out the futon. After getting it laid out open your bag wanting to take out your pajama and washing things.
