Madoka blinked, then smiled. "Of course! I'd be happy to Homura!" She got up and walked up to her table, sitting down with that same kind smile.
Homura simply sipped her juice eyes closed with a calm composure. She opened an eye to see Madoka's bag gone. A turn of her head showed that the pinkette was in the cafe line. Nodding, the Time manipulator had a meager bite of her sandwich.
For some odd reason, she felt oddly hungry today as she finished her egg sandwich. And it put Homura on edge.
She didn't recall being hungry like this in the prior timelines.
'What could this be?' Pondered the dark haired girl. 'I couldn't be this hungry today can I?' She thought as she scratched her side. She looked down.
"Huh. That's odd." It appears that her skirt seems to be, by the tiniest of margins, a bit bigger.
Her mind sharp and calculating, the girl deducted that she must have losed some weight on her way here to school. But simply walking? That shouldn't be possible.
It didn't help that even after chugging her OJ she felt concern. What if this was another of Kyubey's tricks! Or a witch maybe nearby and is hidden extremely well! The possibilities ran through Homura's mind.
Seeing the line still freed up, the dark haired girl sighed as she stood up and walked to where Madoka was in line at the cafe counter. The kind pinkette noticed.
"Hungry Homura?" Asked Madoka with the same kindness.
"I had a light breakfast this morning and little dinner," Homura replied bluntly. "Just having a craving or two is all. What are you going to get Madoka?"
"Well..." She put a finger to her lips. "I suppose a muffin wouldn't hurt, although they do look a bit big...oh well." She shrugged. "I'll manage."
Homura remained silent.
Until she heard a familiar voice pop up behind her.
"Yo." And the dark haired girl turned, eyes narrowed at...
