This choice: Stephanie's gymnastics class • Go Back...Chapter #7Getting ready for Stephanie's gymnastics class by: tasteey   After managing to get Stephanie’s leotard mostly on, you meet Mom in the living room. She also changed and has yoga pants with a tank on.
You tell her, “That was a bit more difficult than I imagined! This leotard is so tight it feels like a second skin!”
Mom nodded, “That’s good. That means nothing is baggy and wont get in the way.”
You turn your back to her and say, “I couldn’t quite get these tricky neckline snaps. Can you help me out?”
You turn your back so Mom can snap them for you. You then joke, “I think I know why it takes girls forever to go to the bathroom now. It’s going to take me forever to get this thing off when I have to pee.”
Mom shakes her head, “I keep forgetting this is your Body Port into a female body. You don’t have to take your leotard off to pee. The same goes for swimsuits. All you have to do is sit down and pull the material aside.“
“Oh…” You feel stupid for not realizing that. You say, “So what are girls doing in the bathroom for so long then?“
Mom explains, “Lots of things. Luckily you aren’t old enough to worry about some of them. Unlike boys, girls don’t just pee and leave the bathroom. There’s always touchups to be made and hair adjustments…” Mom then looked at you and realized, “Speaking of that, we better do something with your hair. You can‘t have it down like that for gymnastics! If we don‘t put it up, it will get in your way..“
You follow Mom to her vanity and sit down. She thinks out loud for a moment, “Hmmm…Your hair is pretty long…A pony will fling around too much…“ She then starts pulling your hair back tight, “Ouch!” You say as she tugs it back.
Mom explains, “Relax. I have to pull it back tight for your French braid. That way you wont have any loose hair dangling out.”
You sit for 10 minutes while she braids your hair. After securing it with a tight rubber band, she hands you a mirror so you can see the back of your head. “Cool! Nice job Mom!” You tell her as you admire her work. “This is much better than having all that hair in my face!” You then suggest, “Can you do these braids for me on the wedding day too?”
Mom shook her head no, “This style isn’t nearly fancy enough for a wedding. I’m not sure what the stylist is going to do with all the girl’s hair, but it definitely wont be a French braid.”
“Stylist?” You question
“You seem to have a problem with reading up on things?” Mom was of course referring to the fact you neglected to read the Body Port contract AND the wedding itinerary. She continued, “All the women in the wedding are getting their hair done early Saturday morning. You will have to join them considering your current body.”
You were hoping to hang out with the other groomsman before the wedding. You hadn’t realized you would spending the morning getting your hair done with the other girls. You then ask, “Even though I‘m technically a groomsman, a tux is obviously out of the question with this body. Do you think I‘ll have to wear a bridesmaid dress to match the other women?”
Mom shrugs her shoulders, “I’m not sure what they have planned for you. Just like you, most of the wedding party Body Ported in for the occasion. You will be attending a dress fitting with the other women tomorrow morning at 9. I presume you will learn what the plan is then.”
Looking at the clock, Mom sees it is time to leave. You put shoes on and start following her towards the door. Mom looks up and down your body and cracks a smile. She barely manages to hold back her laughter.
You suddenly feel self conscious, “Okay? What’s so funny?”
Mom explains, “I’m sorry for laughing. That was unprofessional of me. As an employee of Body Port Inc, I’m supposed to help guide you with your vacation. I just keep forgetting this is your first time in a female body.”
After hearing her, it was obvious you were making a mistake. “Okay..What do I need to do?“
Mom got her composure back and explains, “For starters, you are wearing a beautiful blue leotard with a pair of knee-high white athletic socks….And a pair of big clunky red sneakers.”
You look down and see what she is talking about. Your look ridiculous with your outfit.
She continues, “Actually…That’s not your biggest concern. Girls don’t typically drive around and walk through parking lots wearing only a leotard. You might get some funny looks. You’ll need to pull on a pair of light pants and a top over it.”
You start walking towards Stephanie’s bedroom to find the articles of clothing. Mom adds, “And lose those socks and shoes. A pair of sandals with your bare feet will be fine!”
You follow her instructions and come out properly dressed. Mom is pleased, “MUCH better Stephanie. We better get going! You don’t want to be late for class!”
Even though you are about to attend a girl’s gymnastics class, you are somewhat relieved Mom helped you with the details. You laugh thinking about the funny stories you will have to tell your friends when you meet up with them tonight. They will probably get a good laugh about hearing how you went to Stephanie’s gymnastics class for her.
As you get into the car, you tell Mom, “NOW I’m starting to understand why it takes girls so long to get ready!”
Mom just grinned and thought to herself, “She has no idea!”
