Chapter #3

A show that's in between good and bad

Turns out the anthros didn't have much money or were a bit stingy, because for so many of them that showed up not many actually contributed. When you saw so many loaded buses you were expecting the show of a lifetime, something that would be remembered in the city for generations, but with the money you managed to get it just wasn't going to happen.

That didn't mean you still couldn't produce a good show however, you just had to be smart about what to buy and you were prepared for it, having your trusted supplier that was willing to give you some good discount and even provide you with a couple of.. not so legal choices of fireworks to spice things up.

Somehow the truckload of anthros didn't cause a ruckus and waited patiently wasting time sightseeing around, lazing around in the park or even hiding God knows where while you did purchase what you considered a pretty decent amount and variety of fireworks, from cheap but reliable choices like bottle rockets and fountains, to a good set of mortars and even a couple of commercial grade ones courtesy of years of trusting the same guy to buy your fireworks, and finally a good amount of the always needed cakes to cap off the show in the way your guests deserved

With the purchase completed you lamented there really wasn't enough for everyone to participate, but at least they would be able to see a dazzling show worthy of a fourth of july celebration. Now all you needed to do was to organize how did you want this to work, if you wanted your guests to have a nice firework battle with what was available (maybe that way they would even pitch in to contribute more, your guy said he would keep the store open if you needed some extra emergency purchases) or you could just have some of the anthros contribute to light up the fireworks with you while everyone else had a good time watching and enjoying the show, which seemed like the safer option considering there wasn't enough fireworks for anyone, but would make things less memorable

What happens next?
