Your sisters weren't coming along. You sighed, wishing that they did. Just like Daniel, it was odd to call them sisters. It seems that the necklace misunderstood your intentions upon merging with your mother.
"That is so strange. Did I do something wrong?" You held the necklace between you fingers. You hummed. Maybe it is best to let mom go and have her enjoy the night. You overheard footsteps in the hallway. Peeking out, Rebekah went to the bathroom. She was holding a magazine and her makeup kit.
"Oh, now this is something. All right mother, I'm letting you go. Enjoy the night with Daniel. Er, I mean, dad." You activated the necklace. Just like that, you find yourself behind your mother. Surprised, you stepped away and held you phone up. Nicole acted like nothing happened. She checked her reflection like usual. She notices you and smiled.
"Do I look okay son?" she asks. "Do you think it's too much?"
"You look good mom. Beautiful even." You smiled back. As her son, you loved your mother very much. "Have a great time." You gave her a quick hug before you went to the kitchen.

Around 30 minutes has passed. Your mother has already left. It was just you and your sisters. You laid the necklace in front of you on the table as you ate your dinner. Just a plate of chicken, rice, and mashed potatoes. Finishing your meal, you washed your dishes.
So, the necklace works after all. Still, was I turning into mom when I merged ourselves together? You couldn't figure it out. Besides the inscription on the necklace, there were no instructions. You felt like you hit a dead end. He who wears this necklace has the power to merge. What else does that mean? You were feeling irritated. Drying your hands, you turned to see your sister Emily inspecting the necklace. She just came home from volleyball practice. You can tell from the sweat on her shirt.
"Is this a prop Scott?" she asked. "Looks real." She drank what was left in her water bottle. She tossed the necklace back to you.
"Yeah, I'm just holding onto it. How was practice?" You wore the necklace around your neck. You were having ideas.
"It was fine. I'm tired though." She smiled. "Wanna hug?" Emily is known to hug you a lot after each practice. You hated her sweat more than she does. You took advantage of this. Feigning disgust, you backed up. "What? I thought you liked hugs. Come here."
