Erica couldn't help but be nervous about checking in and security. Something badly always happens to her. Whether it be because of her so-called friends, by some else, or by pure bad luck or chance. One way or another she would end up naked and embarrassed, and check in and security seems the perfect places for things to go bad for her.
In a pleasant surprise though, nothing happened. There were no problems with checking in their luggage, she and her family made it through security swiftly and no issues. They managed to walk over to their gate in relatively short time, and the area wasn't crowded.
"Now, our flight isn't for a while now. About two and half hour from now," David, her stepfather, informs. " We managed to beat traffic, so now the only we need to do is wait. Go look around, shop, stay here, whatever. I'm going to take a nap. "
David lays down on a nearby bench and closes his eyes. Her stepbrother sits on a nearby chair and start watching Netflix on his phone. Erica and her mom sit next to each other on a pair of seats close-by. While her mom starts going through social media, Erica sits there and tries to control her nerves. She kept looking around and praying that nothing bad happens on this vacation that she desperately needs.
