Something happens to the bus

I didn't get to enjoy my nap for very long. The bus started veering out of control, and the sudden shift in momentum knocked my head against the back of the seat, waking me up and giving me a headache.

Even though it was difficult, I managed to shift into a seated position. By this point, everybody was terrified. Even the kids had stopped running around, yelling, but now they were screaming.

The bus driver swore, and I could see him wrestling with the steering wheel, trying to regain control. Unfortunately, that wasn't possible and the bus went off road, barreling over the dirt, steamrolling small plants until eventually hitting something substantially larger and getting flipped onto its side.
