That night, there was a knock on my door. My dorm room wasn't anything special, but because I wasn't rooming with Alicia, Lisa, or any girls In Lisa's inner circle, it was my safe haven at school.
My roommate, Julie, went to answer. I could hear Alicia's voice from outside. "Is Erica here?"
Groaning, I paused the movie I was watching on my computer while lounging on my bed and went to the door, walking past Julie as she returned to the desk in the corner and her homework.
I leaned against the frame of the door, eying Alicia suspiciously. "What?" I couldn't wait to leave for the field trip at the end of the week so I could get away from my tormenters.
Alicia grinned. "Aren't you happy to see me?"
"I'd be happier if you'd tell me what to do to get rid of you."
Alicia reached in and hugged me as I shuffled my feet awkwardly. "Don't be like that, Erica. You know Lisa and I love you. These experiences are necessary for you to break out of your shell and grow." She tugged me out of my dorm and into the hallway, closing the door behind me. "Besides, I'm working right now. Mary sent me!"
Why would my Resident Advisor send Alicia to my room this late in the evening? "What is it?"
Alicia raised a clipboard with several forms clipped onto it. "I need your signature. It's for that Living History onsite review you registered for. Just sign it and I'm gone." I reached for the clipboard, but Alicia moved the forms away. "Ah, ah, ah! Not so fast. You need to sign this form in order for you to be eligible to go on the trip, but if you want to sign off, you have to make it worth my while."
I looked at her questioningly.
"Don't worry, little old Alicia isn't going to ask very much of you. Just give me your panties, and then I'll give you the forms to sign!"
When Alicia pulled me out into the hallway, I had already changed into my nightclothes. A long white t-shirt, shorts, and panties. Why couldn't Alicia just let me sign the forms like any other student when she was working? Was it worth it to go along with Alicia's demand? The registration window was closed, and I needed to participate in an onsite review to meet the requirements of the semester. Would I be able to make new arrangements?
