Robin looked up and stopped drying the plastic cup with the towel which she was holding in her hand. Then she dropped both of them as she stared at her Hulking son, completely slack-jawed.
"Ohmygosh... Look at you!"
"What do you think?" Tom grinned, as he flexed his arms causing huge cantaloupe-biceps to pop up.
"You found the wand, didn't you?"
Yeah!"
Robin picked up the cup and placed it in the sink. Then she sat down on the couch where Tom sat next to her.
"Your great-grandfather, who was my grandfather, was a magician of sorts..." she explained. "He dabbled into magic and stuff and he was a self-proclaimed wizard..."
"Oh, cool!" Tom exclaimed.
"But he was also into health and fitness and he discovered a way to create this wand which could inflate other people's muscles just by pointing it at a person!"
"Sweet! So... Can I use this to buff up my friends at school?" Tom asked her. "I already used it on myself and on Andrew..."
"Yes... But be very careful! Only use it on your friends, okay?" Robin said sternly.
Tom leaned over and kissed her on her cheek.
"Thanks, mom! I love you!"
"Now that you got big muscles, you can help carry grocery bags and lift all the furniture when they come to clean the carpet next week!"
"Awwwww, mommmm!" Tom whined. "What about Jake? He doesn't have to lift anything?"
"Jake doesn't have big muscles like you do!" Robin smiled, as she got up and walked back to the kitchen.
"Oh..." Tom sighed, as he stared at the wand in his hand...
