Flight Delays

Deciding that a unicorn with high knowledge of beauty management would help out well, Rainbow decided to visit Rarity.
She strengthened her wings for flight, but was seven inches from bending to takeoff position due to her enhance. Deciding to go along with it anyway, she leaped with all the strength she could muster and lengthened her wings for flight, but gave a startled yelp as she found extreme difficulty staying afloat, having to flap extremely vigorously to merely hover five feet from the ground.
"C'mon, C'MON!!!" She strained to keep afloat, but gave way shortly after and crashed into the ground. Her fat cushioned her fall, but she was still exhausted from the attempted flight.
"*pant...* Rarity's...*huff* isn't that far anyways..."
Unable to run without getting fatigued, Rainbow had to walk towards Carousel Boutique. Normally Rainbow wouldn't care less about her looks, but she feared that her reputation as "Equestria's #1 Flyer" would be tarnished upon somepony seeing her enhanced physique. She crept around and behind buildings as much as possible, hoping that nopony would see her and laugh at her.
After ten minutes of navigating, Rainbow found herself at Carousel Boutique, which had a "closed" sign put on the entrance.
"Rarity, you in there?" Rainbow called out as she knocked on the front door. There was no answer.
"RARITY, I NEED TO TALK TO YOU!!!"
"I'M BUSY, RAINBOW! I CAN'T TALK RIGHT NOW!!!" came Rarity's voice from inside. There was fear to it.
"C'MON, RARES! IT'S IMPORTANT!"
"IT WILL HAVE TO WAIT, RAINBOW! SOMETHING...SOMETHING'S COME UP!{i/}"
Paying no heed to her demand, Rainbow barged in with all her might.
