Brad just stood there, stunned. What his wife said sort of made sense, but still, it seemed like something really fishy was going on here.
Suddenly, he heard footsteps from behind him. He turned just in time to see Sam clocking him in the head. He dropped to the floor with a thump. But he was conscious long enough to overhear Sam and Grace talk for a bit.
"That was such a bullshit story," Sam said.
"Yeah, well you try making up a story on the fly like that," Grace said. Brad couldn't believe it. His wife lied to him!
"Man, you were totally right. Your husband is such a dumbass homophobe," Sam said.
"We could do something about that, you know," Grace said.
It was at this time when Brad finally fell unconscious.
