Choose Kathleen

Kathleen stepped out of the principle's office, still not believing what she'd been told.

Of course she knew the Principle was exaggerating. It was an old trick to see just how gullible a new teacher was and she'd had it often enough during her training placements to be immune to the tricks.

Still, she had to admit that this place was somewhat different from those schools she'd trained in. She'd seen the way that the students acted around her, some of them looked scared when all she'd done was walk up to them.

Maybe the 'story' was also being told to the students which Kathleen thought was just cruel.

With all the students in their classes Kathleen decided to take the opportunity to have a look around the school. She wanted to get more familiar with where she'd hopefully be working for the next few years assuming her probationary period went well.
