Jeremiah falls head first into the river

he went to the river where his cows drink from, and saw his reflection in the water.

Some parts of his body looked slightly bigger than before.

I don't understand. What—
But Jeremiah never got to finish that statement as he felt his feet hurting.
He looked down to see his toes popping out of the front of his shoes, as his feet began to swell to much larger than their original size.

Suddenly, he overbalanced, and fell head first into the river.

He quickly got outta the river, and shook himself dry.
