Ashley, Sam, and Laura were trying to persuade Dan's mother to play volleyball.
"Oh, I don't know," Mary said. "I think you kids would have more fun without me."
"Come one, Aunt Mary," Laura said. "We can't play with only three people."
Mary looked up and saw Dan. "Dan could play in my place," she suggested. "Dan, why don't you play volleyball with these girls. I'll just watch and be the referee."
"Sounds like fun," he said. He ended up on Sam's team against Ashley and Laura. He had an idea, but the idea couldn't come from him. He used his powers and...
"So, what are we playing for?" Laura asked as prompted.
"We're not really playing for anything, actually," Sam said. "Just for fun."
"Fun?" Laura asked. "That's boring. I have a better idea. Let's play for clothes."
"What, like strip volleyball?" Ashley asked.
"Yeah. Every time you get a point, everyone on the other team as to take something off."
"Are you sure that's legal?" Sam asked. "This isn't a nude beach."
Laura rolled her eyes. "Those rules apply to middle aged fat men with red spots all over their pale, hairy bodies. We're three smoking hot babes! Sure, Dan might get arrested, but I can live with that."
"Hold on," Dan said. "You all have two articles of clothing to take off, but I only have one."
"Whose fault is that?"
Dan scowled and turned to Sam. "Are you okay with this?"
"Sure, as long as you don't lose on purpose."
"No, are you okay with me about to laugh at my sister and my cousin after humiliating them on a public beach?"
Sam grinned. "Oh, I'm okay with that. I'm definitely okay with that."
They started the game. Dan and Sam might be able to win normally, or Dan could use his powers to make sure.
