Josh's hope faded the moment he realized what was actually happening. Liam only glanced down for a second before looking up again. He didn't see Josh at all. Without having the slightest idea that there was another person in his house trying to get his help, Liam simply walked away.
Josh futilely tried to get Liam's attention by yelling as loud as he could. Of course, Liam couldn't hear him. The earthquakes caused by the giant's footsteps made it difficult for Josh to keep his balance and run after him. Eventually, Liam's titanic form disappeared, leaving Josh alone and terrified. He wasn't sure what to do now.
