Josh jumped out of the way right as Liam's foot crashed into the ground right next to him, throwing him to the ground. Above, Liam saw that he missed the "bug", which was now scurrying away as fast as it could. He considered pursuing it, but decided against it. He didn't feel like wasting his time trying to get rid of a speck-sized insect that he probably wouldn't see again. So, he turned around and left.
As Josh was trying to escape, he could once again feel earthquakes in the ground. Only this time, they seemed to get less and less intense. He turned around for a second to see Liam exiting the room. Sighing in relief, Josh took a break from running and sat down on the floor. He'd only stay there for a couple of minutes at most. After that, he'd have to find shelter before anything else went wrong.
