"Mister, can you please help me?"
You look down at the little girl and sigh. You needed the money, but this job was a pain in the ass. Who knew being a camp councilor was so god-damned difficult?
You bend over, stooping to her face level. "What is it, uhh, Susie?"
"There's something in the bathroom. It's scary."
You hold back your sigh. This was the fifth child who'd asked this. You'd shooed the other fourth away, stating your disbelief about the "toilet monster." That clearly didn't work.
"Yeah, I'll help."
Her face lit up, revealing a row of pink braces. "Thank you!" She ran off, and you trudged dutifully behind her.
You couldn't wait for this week to be over.
You slam your fist into the wooden door. The girl's outhouse was actually locked, but you still doubted there was a monster in it. "Hey, is anyone in there."
A masculine grunt came through. "Nope. The stall's empty. I'm just a spooky ghost. Run away now little girl."
Well fuck. There was a pedo in the stall. Should you call management? They'd like to know.
No, he'd run off by then. You pull the key out of your pocket. "Hey, I'm coming in. This restroom's for little girls, not grown men."
The door swings open. Standing over the toilet, covering himself, was a four foot tall, green and hairy ape man. Behind you, Susie screamed and ran off.
"What the actual fuck. There's a furry in here?"
He looks over his shoulder. "Not that I know off. Just me, pumpkin."
You rub your eyes. There was no way you were getting paid enough for this shit. "Okay little man, you're coming with me. This is no doubt against some law. At least, it should be."
He stepped out of the outhouse. "No can do, sweety. Busy monster, I am. Got places to do and people to go, or whatever. And you've seen too much." From a pouch wrapped around his waist, her grabs a handful of powder. "And who're you calling 'little?'"
Before you could react, he tossed the powder at you and ran off. The pinkish dust flowed into your lungs, choking you.
"Help... me..."
You stumble to the nearest cabin, and collapse in front of it.
