You wake up in the morning with a splitting headache. Your mouth is dry and you feel groggy. Thankfully, you had a stash of hangover pills left over from New Year's Eve.
You go to the bathroom and retrieve the pills before heading to your kitchen. You opened the fridge and took out an Energy Boost energy drink. It was amazing, a beverage company had actually figured out to restore lost energy instead of just providing caffeine and a sugar rush. Several minutes later, you felt refreshed and hydrated.
Returning to your room, you look at your computer. You hadn't bothered to close all of your tabs last night and you were curious about what you had looked at. Your email was quite interesting.
The email that you had ignored had been sent from Chronoton Industries. They were seeking qualified individuals who wished to become children for other couples. You read the email several times and pondered the offer.
Your money was running low, and it would only be a matter of time before you were evicted. However, you weren't ready to throw in the towel. You could find a job and be back on your feet before rent was due.
