As she looked into the scroll, she saw that the writing she had glimsed over Naruto's shoulder had disappeared. "What? Where did the writing go?" she questioned out loud.
"I don't know. It was there when I used it!" Naruto said.
"Well then we've gotta find out what happened. This is our only clue!" she told him. "C'mon! Follow me!" she said as she made her way into the village.

It was a while after, and the two now sat in the library, having come here to study the scroll and see if they could find anything about what it had done and what it was. Their trip here had been strange. Once back in the village, they had tried not to be seen at first, but they found that no one seemed to react to their state of dress, and weirder yet, they had run into their friends who treated them as if they were the other.
"Here! I think I found something." Sakura called over Naruto to her location, and the book she had open before her. "Its a book of myths, and I found a picture of a scroll with markings that match the one you found."
"Well, then what does it say?" Naruto asked as he sat down.
"It says it the life swap jutsu." Sakura said as she began to read the book out loud. "According to legend, using this jutsu will switch the lives of any two people. Those affected by this technique will switch lives with the other affected by it. Only those affected by the jutsu will be aware of change, and those who weren't will treat those affected by the technique as if they are the person whose life they now. When people are affected, they will switch abilities, including bloodlines, with those whose life they are in."
"Thats sounds strange, but we can't really deny it." Naruto said. "Does it say why the scroll might have gone blank?"
"Lets see... Ah! Here it is..." Sakura said as she read it to herself silently, and her face looked worried.
