It's Harry, and he has a suggestion.

Having transcribed some of his notes from his copy (well, the prince's copy), of the potions book. He revealed what he'd kept to Ron. A few suggestions for different preparation techniques were mentioned for different ingredients, that could be used for different potions.

There wasn't much that wasn't potion based. Given Harry's difficult time in potions class. He made Ron swear to secrecy and not tell Hermione. He didn't like the source of the notes, but they were valuable, and he didn't want Hermione destroying them.

Once Ron had been sworn to secrecy, Harry revealed the actual price of seeing those notes.
